P R O M

Last Thursday, I had my prom (or debs as they call it in every other county it seems), which is obviously a huge event at the end of secondary school. I waited months for this day, much like my other school companions (even the boys were excited about their suits).

Dress: Ariella London
Shoes: ASOS

Hair & makeup fabulously done at a local salon!

I had a fabulous night with my friends at school, and felt like a princess! I felt even more like a princess, Cinderella to be exact, when I lost one of my shoes at the end of the night. Although I am yet to have my prince charming to give it back to me....

I hope you enjoyed this post! I'll chat to you next week with a more Christmassy post!

Christmas Gift Guide 2015

Today, I am here with my second post in my Christmas series, whish is a Christmas gift guide for him and for her! I have taken inspiration from what I'm getting my friends and family this year, and I hope perhaps you gain some inspiration also.

                                  HIM

I know extremely well how difficult it is to buy gifts for my dad and my brother! The first thing is a mug, which will probably not apply to the majority of you, but as my brother is studying geology I thought it would be a great (and funny) gift for him! It can be something relevant to what they like or find funny, and proves to be quite a thoughtful yet servicable gift.

The next thing is a portable power bank which is €6 from Penneys. This is a great gift for anyone really, as basically everyone has a smart phone that usually uses battery when they're being used out of the house.

The next thing is a Carluccio cookbook (€14.99 Easons)! This is a great gift for dads or especially for brothers (or sisters) who are off at uni and living away from home.  I know this would be especially useful for my brother.

The last thing is slippers, which is an extremely simple gift, but everyone needs slippers! These are €15 from Littlewoods, but obviously there are far cheaper ones in the likes of Primark and Dunnes.

                                          HER

The first thing for her is a Santa Lush bathbomb. This is a really universal gift for your mam, sister or friends. Most bathbombs are about €5, which may not be the cheapest but sure are worth it!

The next thing is slightly pricier at €28.99, which is a brush set from Real Techniques. I swear by these brushes, and I know my friends and mam do too.

The next thing which is a nice gift is a notebook. This one is £6 from Urban Outfitters, but you can really get them anywhere in shops like Penneys or Tiger, where they're budget friendly and lovely gifts all the same.

The final thing is a No7 Cleansing Brush Gift Set €43.50
