Myrtle Beach Fashion Show

Hello loves!  Last Thursday I had the pleasure of walking the runway for Random Clothier in the Myrtle Beach Fashion Show that benefited the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at Club Boca.  I had several of my friends walking with me and it made the show so much fun!  I was only nervous right before going on stage, but quickly forgot about it and had the best time!  Random Clothier is owned by my friend, Summer Karst, and she has the cutest clothes.  If you are ever in Myrtle Beach, SC or Peoria, IL, please check out her store!

Oh, and I had so much fun in hair and makeup.  I love dressing up and doing things I normally wouldn't get to do, so I said to go wild with my hair and makeup...what do you think?

What I Wore to Work

Hello loves!  I wore this look to work recently and love pairing pencil skirts with blousy tops.  I absolutely did not want to put tights on, but it was a little too cool outside not to wear.  I love the bright color of this skirt...and pretty much the bright colors on anything lately.  What is your favorite "color" to wear?

April Obsessions

hey huns!
MONTHLY OBSESSIONS! at last, we are nearly done with spring, (bye bye til next year!) and almost on to summer. almost.
But before then, we have a whole month to get through. So heres this months monthly obsessions!

I have been doing loads of crafty stuff this month and i have used this so much! so handy! its a stanley hot glue gun. The glue dries super fast and is really handy for crafts etc.

I love my bear case. I still have to name it though.

So this is a lipgloss from Revlon. I have been wearing this everyday to school and it has amazing stay. Seriously, I put this on at 8:00 am and it doesn't come off until I eat at break time. So impressed and i'll definitely be getting this in other colours.

Instead of my brushes for foundation and concealer I have been using this sponge from No7. It works really well, especially if its a bit damp then it gives a real airbrushed look. Really makes me want to try a beauty blender!

Do I even have to say anymore?

You may think I overhype this product, but its just because I love it SO FRICKIN MUCH! I always use it and it never faults me.

This is a Maybelline Colour Tattoo in "Eternal Gold". You have to use a primer, because it does go a bit patchy, but otherwise this colour is so pretty with a subtle shimmer. It also works great as a base.

I sort of went off using eyelash curlers for a while as I felt they really did nothing, but I learned a tip (thank you YouTube) that if you use your hairdryer to heat it up, it works amazingly.

The POREfessional from Benefit is really good. It keeps my makeup on all day. Mine is only tester, but I think i will definitely spend the minute for a full sized one.

The holy grail.

DEFINITELY worth the hype. I have been using this everyday for school and it is so good! The colours are so pigmented and pretty. Love!

Sail Away

Good Morning Loves!  I hope your enjoy your Saturday..I know I will!  

I wore this outfit to my twin nieces' softball game recently.  I am so proud of them!  The weather was gorgeous and one of the girls got a run!  

My mom was my photographer here.  When I got to her house, I asked her to take pictures for me and she said she thought about a great spot before I even got there.  She knows me too well.  She had me sit in these pretty flowers that we think came out of the clovers.  I love the shots and probably would have never sat in the grass otherwise..thanks Mama!

Busy

Hey Huns!
So I am sure that LOADS of people are studying in preparation of summer exams, junior cert, etc, but through all the business and stress you have to take breaks and slow down. So this is my guide to life while studying!

1. Make a timetable
So important. This makes sure everything is all timed out so that you have time for you, a social life, unicorn farming, etc. this is the FIRST thing you do when getting ready for exams.

2. Don't overload
It depends for different people how long they can study before taking a break or losing concentration. I can go 45-60mins before I have to just stop for 5/10minutes , get a drink or listen to music. So schedule those in too!

3. Sleep!
More sleep = More concentration. You'll be able to do so much more if you've had a good nights sleep and are refreshed and ready.

4. Make notes
As you go along, write down bullet points, key words, anything that helps you to remember stuff. You'll be thankful before exam time.

5. Don't cram the night/week before
Bad idea. This will tire you out, leaving you fit for nothing. Info doesn't go into your brain as easily then.

Ok, so that was a different post to my usual of beauty and stuff, but its sort of fitting considering the time of year it is. (Exam time) so I hope this helped at least one of you.

Hello Loves!  My schedule has been so busy lately but I have finally had the time to get some pictures together.  I ran errands with my husband the other day in this outfit.  I know, I know....what's she doing running errands with heels on?  Trust, I eventually took them off and put on white sandals.  I think I would have looked pretty weird shopping for groceries in these shoes.  Speaking of groceries....have you ever dressed appropriately for the 80-100 degree weather outside, only to freeze to death in the grocery store because you spend most of your time in the cooler/freezer section?  Story of my life......

Insta Pics and Colorado Work Trip

I'm finally home after a few days in Denver, Colorado for a work trip.  I love that my work allows me to go to places I haven't been before and I usually play as much as I work.

On a side note, it was SO weird to walk down the street and smell weed on every corner and see a guy rolling a joint on a table in front of us.  It is legal there...but it was so hard to get into that mindset.  There is kind of a shock factor when you see it out in the open like it's just a normal thing.

Yes, that's snow on my head...I was so ready to get back to 80 degree weather!

All we did was walk....flats were a must!

Our water was served in this at one of the restaurants we went to...three times.
