Native

Good Morning and Happy Monday!  I hope your weekend was great!  I spent mine with my parents.  I love getting in quality time with them...I don't feel like I see them as often as I would like.

I wore this look to a tractor show in North Carolina two weekends ago.  My daddy is a John Deere guy and loves refurbishing tractors.  I thought I would go casual for the tractor show and this is what I came up with.  It was a little warm out towards the middle of the day and this tank was perfect for that.  The boots were still a must since there was dirt everywhere.  They kept my feet clean.  Do you ever go places where you want to look cute but have to be really casual at the same time?  If so, what do you wear?
I wore these boots last fall here with a fur vest.
You might have seen me wear this bag here.

Working a Summer Dress into Fall

As we close down the week, I thought I would show you how I took one of my summer maxi dresses and worked it for fall.  This was really an effortless look...as you can take a jean jacket and throw over almost any dress that you wore for the summer.  It was perfect for me because it warms up during the day here, enough where you may need to take off some layers.  I paired the look with my favorite Michael Kors watch, a brown bag and some gold sandals and voila...an easy and comfortable transitional look.  How have you worked your summer dresses for fall?

You can see where I wore this dress on my cruise last year here.

My Top 5....

Hey Huns!
So I have decided that every month I will do a new post called 'My Top 5'. This will be a new sort of series about my top five favourites (in no particular order) for music, TV, etc. For September, I will be discussing

My Top 5...
Music Groups, Bands & Singers

1. The Glitch Mob
This is a glitch hop group. Glitch hop is a genre of music, a bit like EDM. I first discovered the Glitch Mob about a year and a half ago and since then I've been hooked. My favourite songs by them are 'We Can Make the World Stop' and 'A Dream Within a Dream'.
Absolutely obsessed.
2. Bruno Mars
You more than likely know who he is! I have LOVED him ever since Doo Wops and Hooligans. I tried to get tickets for his concert, but they sold out so so quick! Me and my friend were gutted. My favourite songs by him are, well, pretty much all of them!

3. Everything Everything
I have been obsessed with their album Arc ever since it came out. They're an indie band from England. For the first time in a long time, I can listen to a full album without disliking a song.

4. Muse
They are such an amazing band. I've been to see them in concert and it was amazing (Obvs). I've loved them since I was younger too.

5. Lana Del Rey
I love her album Born to Die so much. She's such an amazing singer. I used to not like her because I thought she was depressing, but I actually really like her music now!

I know its a bit different to my usual stuff, but I might incorporate beauty top fives too. I hope you enjoyed this post!

Happy Fall Y'all!

Happy Fall!!  I am so excited for fall and it seems the cool weather came just in time.  Our days are still a little warm, but at least it is cool enough for layering.

I wore this look to work recently and loved it.  This purple piece is actually a dress that I wore out to my bachelorette party a couple of years ago.  I decided to pair it with black skinny jeans and a gray cardigan.  It was short enough to wear with the jeans where it looked like a top.  Have you ever worn a dress as a top?  If so, how did you style it?
You might have seen me wear these booties here with black leather leggings.
I also wore this cardigan here last fall.

Happy Monday

Happy Monday!  I hope you all have a great week!  My weekend was great and to top things off, we are having nice, fall weather!  I am so excited!

I wore this outfit recently when we had a cooler day, but I knew it was going to warm up outside.  It was too warm for leggings or pants, but it wasn't warm enough to not have something like a cardigan.

You might have seen me wear these sandals here.

Reviewed: MAC Lipsticks

Hey Huns!

So just a quick thing to say sorry that there will be no video this weekend. My school does assessments which make up your Christmas mark. These usually consist of very large chapters that you have to revise and they have taken a HUGE chunk out of my down time. Hopefully I'll have a video next week.
(I MIXED UP THE WORDING FOR PINK NOUVEAU AND GIRL ABOUT TOWN. OTHER WAY AROUND SORRY!!! Feeling dumb because I replaced the original picture with this one...)

Babbling over and on with the review!
I purchased my first MAC lipstick back in February and I have been in love ever since! The colours I have are so different and wearable. Milan Mode is more opaque where as Girl About Town and Pink Nouveau are more of a fulller colour. These lipsticks have such great stay. Whenever I wear them, I feel as if I never have to re-apply them that often. The colours are always super pigmented and it is one of the things I really love about them. Saying this, sometimes I have to wear a lip balm underneath because numero uno: I suffer from dry lips and numero dos: they then look awful.
I have to say, everything about these lipsticks are perfect, from the pigmentation to the packaging. I would definitely recommend them although they are quite expensive, but a good investment!
I hope you liked this *late* post! And I will hopefully have a video next weekend.

Anniversary

Good Morning!  I hope your week has had a great start!

So remember how I stated last week that I couldn't wait for the weekend because it was supposed to cool off some here?  Well it did, but it didn't cool down quite as much as I would like.  The temps were still in the low 80s and low 60s, but I wanted it to get down into the 50s...because that's when it would have been just cool enough for my pumpkin coffee.  I still drank pumpkin coffee, but it tastes so much better in crisp air!

Also, last week, I celebrated my second anniversary with my husband.  We went to our favorite restaurant, Rivertown Bistro, in Conway, SC.  The food is amazing and fresh...they change the menus to fit the seasons.  I wore this outfit to dinner that night.  I love the way this dress is fitted up top with a flared, fun skirt on the bottom.  I felt very feminine, which is exactly how I wanted to feel on our special night.

You might have seen me wear this watch here.
